German Design Award 2025 for REISS Subero®

It is with great pride and joy that REISS announces that it has won the prestigious German Design Award 2025 for the REISS Subero® storage system. This coveted award in the category Excellent Product Design – Office Furniture honours the outstanding design quality of the innovative furniture system, which was specially developed for modern central zones.

The German Design Award, presented by the German Design Council, is considered one of the most prestigious design prizes worldwide. Since 2012, the award has been presented annually to outstanding design achievements, showcasing pioneering trends in the fields of product design, communication design and architecture. With its international appeal, it sets standards in the design landscape and enjoys a high reputation far beyond specialist circles.  

REISS Subero® was able to prevail against strong competition and impressed the jury with its well-thought-out concept and extraordinary flexibility. The system offers maximum design freedom and combines storage space, stylish room dividers and elegant sideboards in a single programme. Thanks to the identical appearance of the front and back, configurations can be created that can be used on both sides, which are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Continuous joint patterns, minimised edge doubling, as well as smart real-wood accessories and elegant metal linings give the programme a high-quality look. Subero® is complemented by upholstered benches and seating islands that offer additional comfort and opportunities to linger.
