Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie (LEIZA) in Mainz
The new building of the Leibniz Centre for Archaeology (LEIZA) in Mainz, which will open in 2023, houses various types of use, including workshops, laboratories, exhibition and event areas. The scientific library, which extends over the 1st floor, is particularly noteworthy. A total of 70 reading workstations can be found there. The reading places were equipped with REISS Trailo design tables, which are realised as 2, 4, 6 and 8-seater workbenches. Each table was fitted with an ‘potsdam’ reading lamp from Mawa Design, which is powder-coated in beige-red to match the D-shaped base of the bench. Thanks to their anti-fingerprint surface in anthracite grey, the table tops are resistant to soiling and blend seamlessly into the overall concept thanks to their discreet appearance.
